On Tuesday, a group of KS2 pupils went to the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool and sang on stage and in the audience to represent Heygreen’s commitment to Music. All the pupils who went represented Heygreen incredibly well.
To help Year 6 pupils prepare for life beyond Heygreen, they have been on work experience for the past two days. At the end of each working day, the children have to have their appraisal card completed which will earn them points for their end of year leavers lunch. The more points they earn, the better lunch they will have! 😀
Today, the house team captains took part in a special Maths assembly to promote the teaching and learning of Maths across the school. They were brilliant ambassadors during this assembly and supported their fellow pupils well.
Well done Year 5 who voluntary asked if they could sing the children into assembly today. As a school, we were very proud of them which is one of our School values.
Today, in an assembly delivered by the NSPCC, the children learnt about the Heygreen value ‘Free.’ This means to have free speech and that all the children have the right to speak out. Today, our children learnt about having the right to speak out to stay safe.
